Building products
that respect people.
Simple, focused tools for creators who value clarity over complexity.
Why we exist
9Ethics was born from a deep belief that software can be better. That technology should empower people, not manipulate them. That products can remain focused, intentional, and genuinely useful as they grow.
We wanted to build something different: a studio that creates tools we’d actually want to use. Products that respect the people who rely on them. And a business model that doesn’t require compromising our principles.
Who this is for
We build for indie founders, small teams, and SMBs who care about doing things right. People who'd rather have a simple tool that works than a complex platform that promises everything.
Our users value their time. They want clarity, not complexity. Reliability, not constant reinvention. Tools that stay out of the way and let them do their work.
How we approach building
We start with a problem, not a solution. We talk to people who experience that problem. We build the simplest thing that could work. Then we listen, learn, and iterate.
We don't chase trends. We don't add features to check boxes. We don't promise what we can't deliver. We just try to make genuinely useful things, consistently, over time.
The name
9Ethics represents the intersection of practical necessity and ethical commitment. The "9" suggests iteration, refinement, almost-but-not-quite perfection—because we're always improving, never finished.
Ethics isn't a department or an afterthought. It's foundational to how we think about building, running, and growing this studio.
